Second and third grade have been having so much fun showing off their knowledge of multiplication as well as learning new things about Pixie 3. Check out these examples of student work!

First Grade Loves Draw A Stickman!

Draw A Stickman is a cute site I ran across a few weeks ago. Not only do the students get to practice reading and help complete an interactive story, they get to practice their drawing skills on the computer. This is a fun site that really engaged the students.

Learn the Keyboard

This is a good site to use with the little guys to help them learn where the letters are on the keyboard.

Cyber Safety

In the upper grades we are learning about Cyber Safety. Today Mr. Wasdin's class went to the Privacy Playground and watched "The First Adventure of the Three Cyber Pigs". After discussing the lessons learned we made posters at Big Huge Labs to place around the school.

Mr. Graham's 5th Grade Techno-Geeks!

Each week that I see Mr. Graham's class I get more amazed at their knowledge of technology. They do all kinds of things in his classroom. I am hoping to get a few of them to answer this post and just tell everyone about the cool things they are doing in their classroom.

3rd Grade Meets Storybird!

This week in the computer lab, third grade will be the first gradelevel introduced to Storybird.com. I plan to use this website with many classes. I can't wait to see the great writing projects we do using this website!

4th Grade Rocks!

We are making all kinds of progress with 4th grade. We have completed our address books in ePals and we've set up our signature. I'm so proud of the students for learning their user names and passwords so quickly.


Now that we are up and running with ePals. We are now using http://www.clayyourself.com/ to create an avatar of ourselves to use on Edmodo. Edmodo is a very cool educational microblogging site. We will be using it for all kinds of things!
